That time we did 41 of everything at Shawshank

YHC had the pleasure of celebrating his 41st trip around the sun with the great men of Shawshank today. So, it was decided that we do 41 of everything, well, just because. You know you are in the presence of brothers when they will indulge in even the dumbest of workouts with you. Of course there was mummblechatter, but that is to be expected. YHC deserves that with all the stuff he throws out each week and wouldn’t have it any other way. YHC is blessed to know all the men of Shawshank and F3 Lexington.

Here’s how it went today:

Make sure those close to you know how you feel before it’s too late.  Leave No Doubt.

We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there “is” such a thing as being too late. This is no time for apathy or complacency. This is a time for vigorous and postive action.
~Martin Luther King

Dr King was speaking about something much different in his quote above as it pertained to Civil Rights.  We can, however, take it to mean much more in how we conduct ourselves every day toward those we love.  Take the time to hold your loved ones tight.  This has become cliche, but it is always important to remember.  With Kobe’s passing, this is the biggest thing YHC has taken away from it.
