To be late April it was quite warm and sticky this morning at the ‘bush. Onion season is about to be in full swing. Yesterday, Meter was notified that the signed up QIC would not be able to make it. He threw out an invite for someone to Q. I jumped in. After following the Ambush board yesterday no one expected Mayhem to come….Anybody. But he did. The story was not as good as we hoped for. Nevertheless, he and his fellow pax were ready to get after it this morning. And some of them did. Below is what went down.
Mosey one lap around the parking lot to pickup Boatplug and then circle up at the Hex for COP all IC
SSH x 20
TTT x 15
Imperial Walker x 20 Clockwise
Another mosey around the parking lot and we found a grassy spot for PLANKARAMA which is always a crowd pleaser. All exercises IC x 15
Mosey down Ambush alley and split up into two teams for a plank race.
Each team lines up in a row head to toe in plank position. Last pax runs to the front and planks. Rinse and repeat to the next light pole. First team all the way across wins. Niles is a good teammate
Mosey to basketball court for a few rounds to loosen Brita’s legs. All out and back.
Sprint or sassy hips
Mosey to Squatters hill for 11’s. Sprint up hill jog down.
Squats and BBSU’s
Mosey around to the wall for:
Wall sit 1 minute
Balls to the wall 1 min
Wall sit 1 minute
Mosey back to flag.
We had time for two more exercises. IC x 15
-Niles will do what it takes to win.
-Mayhem is still alive after what would have killed a common man.
-Goodman is still missing. He must have cashed in his tickets last night.
-Eggo missed SL and BC.
-Ambush is not a democracy. Meter will rule with an iron fist.

Devo: The Biggest Mistake
3 There was a man from the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Him at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher, for no one could perform these signs You do unless God were with him.”
3 Jesus replied, “I assure you: Unless someone is born again,[a] he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 “But how can anyone be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked Him. “Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born?”
What’s the biggest mistake you’ve ever made? Many people may not recognize their greatest error until after death, when their expectation of life in heaven is replaced by the horrible reality that they are denied entrance for rejecting Christ.
Nicodemus was a man who had built his life on knowing and doing the right things. As a Sanhedrin member—one of the highest ranks for a Pharisee—he appeared incredibly righteous from man’s perspective. Surely he was destined for heaven. What a shock it must have been when Jesus said the only way to see the kingdom of God was to be born again. Nicodemus hadn’t done anything to be born physically, and now he was being told there was nothing he could do to be born again, either. And no matter how many good deeds he had done, they could never get him into the kingdom of God.
The false belief that we can earn our way to heaven is still prevalent today. Churches are filled with people who think they are saved by participating in religious activities and living a moral life. But if we believe this lie, we will be greatly disappointed after death. The only way to be saved from eternal disaster is to be born again by believing in Jesus.
