7 PAX showed up ready to put in some work! YHC wanted to do something a little different and decided that repeating rounds would be a great idea. The purpose was to keep the PAX moving without much of a break. The exercises were all done OYO. The PAX wanted something easy so easy is wa=hat they got…at least YHC thought the directions were easy but some explanation was still needed. Even with he weinke written on a dry erase board.
Mosey to the block pile. Grab a block and head to the warm up area. YHC had to go back to the block pile about 10 minutes in because Katniss “accidentally” broke his block.

Start with round 1 and do the exercise. For round 2 do that exercise and repeat round 1. Round 3 will be a different exercise and repeat 1 and 2….. each round the exercise will increase by 5.
Round 1- Burpees X5 The PAX wanted this for round 8. YHC had to explain that would be doing 40 burpees in a row instead of 40 throughout the work out. Once they realized this, they were okay with it staying as round 1.
Round 2- Mericans x 10, R1 YHC had to explain to the PAX why it was spelled this way. Somehow, many PAX and AO’s spell it as Merkins (YHC does as well) for whatever reason, YHC decided to spell it “correctly.”
Round 3- Thruster X 15, R2, R1
Round 4- Swings x 20, R3, R2, R1
Round 5- Goblet squats x 25, R4, R3, R2, R1
Round 6- Curls x 30, R5, R4, R3, R2, R1
Round 7- OH Press X 35, R6, R5, R4, R3, R2, R1
Round 8- Calf raises X 40, R7, R6, R5, R4, R3, R2, R1
Perfect timing! Although YHC was going to make them do The Donatello. They were pleased to know that we were out of time, so return your blocks and head to the shovel flag!
