It’s always fun to visit other AO’s. Except for the commute. YHC was running behind for SL because I-20 had the exit closed toward Detention. Sorry to make you guys wait. During Stridelite, as we waited for the cross signal, a friendly gentleman yelled at us for making the light turn red. Sorry to make him wait. We joked about that for the rest of the morning. Come to find out it was a fellow pax who was headed to the westside for a workout. We had just assumed it was a Clemson fan. As I think about the phrase” Thanks for making us wait” I am reminded that we are all waiting on something. Through that waiting we should put our trust in God’s and His plan. I have found that through the wait He has given me a chance to grow in my faith as well as in patience. Anyway, we had a great time this morning and as always the guys from Detention got after it. YHC was impressed with the three 2.0’s out there this morning. Strong work men. Below is what went down.

Whether we want to admit it or not, we are all being led by something. We may be being led by people around us who influence us or the current culture that has sway over us or even our own emotions, which can be unreliable or even misleading. We are all being led by something. This is why the bible teaches us to be thoughtful about what we are being led by and to choose our influencers wisely.
Where are my ideas coming from? What is shaping my worldview? What is influencing my feelings? These are vital questions we should ask ourselves and, frankly, these are questions we should ask God. So today, let’s ask God for clarity, direction, and wisdom. And let’s commit ourselves to the leadership of Jesus Christ.
