It Was Raining. A lot.

Noah’s Ark may have been a more appropriate name for ‘The Arena’ this morning. It was windy. It was pouring. But that didn’t stop 10 #HIMs from posting for another Short Haul heart pounder. Also, it is worth pointing out, that the vast majority of this workout was completed in the weather. No awnings or coverings for these beasts!

#TCLAPS for the minimal mumble chatter regarding YHC’s choice of working out in the mess. Either ya’ll were too smoked, or you’re really that tough! YHC says probably both.

Conditions: 63 degrees and varying levels of rain ranging from “need an umbrella” to “Biblical”

Mosey the parking loop then under the cover for warm-up

50 (GOOD FORM) merkins OYO — as many as you can without stopping; get all 50 even if you have to rest, wait for 6.

OHC  x10 IC
LBAC  x10 IC backward

YHC paired up partners (sometimes counting can be hard for the PAX), mosey to block pile where each PAX grabbed a block, and slowsey to BT (black top) behind school.

Drop blocks and sprint to other end of BT.

Sprint down and back to blocks

Round 1
1’s farmer’s carry both blocks to far end and come back. 2’s do burpees. Flapjack and repeat until 60 burpees completed.

With partner, Bear Haul half of BT and back. Bear Hauls consist of getting into a bear crawl position with each partner having a hand on the block. As a team, move the block as you crawl forward. Turn around at the end, to even out the abuse on the arms and shoulders.

Round 2
1’s farmer’s carry ONE block, focusing on keeping core/obliques tight. Switch arm at far end. 2’s Curls for the girls. Flapjack and repeat until 250 curls completed.

Sprint down BT.
Sprint down and back.
Sprint back, 100% effort — at this point, the skies opened up and it poured. POURED.

Round 3
1’s jog/slowsey to end of BT with block on left shoulder, switch shoulders, jog/slowsey back. 2’s shoulder press. Flapjack and repeat until 150 presses complete.

YHC called for block return and meet back under cover for 5 minutes of Mary and COT
