The #CAT5 has quickly established itself as a very difficult #AMRAP in F3Lexington. One of the best things about it is the versatility and ability to change directions, as well as the added difficulty of block exercises. Today was no different. Here’s what went down.
***Conditions: 31 degrees and windy. Gloomy
***Disclaimer and prayer
***Crank up the music and follow this….
Begin in area under bleacher stairs beside concession stand. Run up stairs into stadium. Hang a right and run along until you hit stairs going up to press box. Up to the top, out of the gate to the short turn stairs leading up to the top of the press box. Once at the top (best view in Lexington), 21 LBC’s, 21 merkins, and today, do 21 squats. Down opposite stairs to original starting point. Grab block for 21 curls for the girls, 21 shoulder presses, and the new addition today, 21 block chest presses on your back. That’s 1 lap. Rinse and repeat increasing repetitions of each exercise by 1 for each new lap. #Cobains to Tailpipe for thinking we had to do big boy sit-ups at the top, instead of LBC. Way to do the harder thing, albeit inadvertently.

***BOM / Pledge of Allegiance
A few thoughts on today. Although we had a small number today, the effort, encouragement, and mumble chatter was strong. Days like today when it is stupid cold and windy are days we need to hold each other accountable. Posting on a day like today is an accomplishment.
On a different note, this AO and YHC are indebted to our Nantan, Ken Doll. Today is KD’s 4 year anniversary. YHC will be celebrating 4 years later this month and KD is a big reason for me going in the first place, and still involved with this thing called F3. Thank you for your vision and leadership, brother. Congratulations.
