4 Years

Well I never thought I would stick with something that made me get up so early, but I wouldn’t trade it after 4 years.  There were 9 other PAX that help me celebrate the occasion this morning as we did a few things from some past workouts.

Burpee Broad Jump to the far end of the 2nd court.

Mosey back to the poles.  Line up in 2 lines for a Baatam Death March.

PAX at the back of the line drops and does 5 Burpees while the other pax run in a line.  When the pax completes the Burpees he runs to catch the group and tags the last PAX to start the next set of Burpees while they continue to the front of the line.  This was performed until we made it through the car loop and back to the loading dock.  Dominion volunteered to do Burpees first and had to do a second set because we didn’t make it back to the poles in time.  Lesson Learned.

Grab your pole and head to the paved hill that leads to the traffic circle.

Ladder

5 pole press

10 OH Press

15 pole press

20 OH Press

25 pole press

Hit ever rung of the ladder on the way to the traffic circle and hit every rung on the way back to the start.

Return the Poles to the pile and mosey to the flag.

Dominion and the guys at Surge really like Flower by Moby so I couldn’t let them down.  While in the plank position hold the up and down on the call.

Devo and Closing Prayer

Call on Me

PSALM 50:15  Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.

Who do you run to when you are in trouble?  Perhaps your spouse, parents, or a good friend?  The problem with these people is they are human and can’t always rescue you or know what is best for you.  God says he will rescue you….not maybe, not perhaps, but he WILL rescue you.  How comforting it is to know God has your back.  It’s only fitting we respond with thankfulness and give God the honor He deserves. Are you in trouble?  Then call on the Lord, He will be there.
