3Yr. Anniversary at Smokehouse

Well I’ll have to admit when i put my name down on the Q sheet I didn’t realize that it would be the 3 yr Anniversary of Smokehouse and after realizing this I then wondered if I could dream up a Q that would worthy of testing these men on this special day, maybe not but lets give it a try and see what happens.  F3 has been a blessing in my life and I know to many many others and all three of the F’s have certainly grown since our beginnings 3 yrs ago and i know will continue to grow in the years to come.  Now enough of that mushy stuff, lets talk about what we did to get a little 1st F better today (read carefully Swayze, since you were a big ole fartsacker!).

Mosey to bottom of parking lot out by the road.  I usually like to show the bus drivers some love but since the summer vacay, the road was the next best thing.


SSH IC x 15 quickly transitioning as a car was approaching to

Monkey Humpers x 10 IC (I mean who doesn’t love to show the early morning commuters a bit of Monkey Humpers to start their day)

Enough warm-up as i know the Tomahawk boys aren’t used to such foolishness as warm-ups.

The Thang:

Count off in 3’s and stay with your same # group.  Mosey to Stadium, Practice Field or Hill for station work.  3 yrs 3 stations, easy peasy.

Station 1–Stadium/blocks.  Partner up within your group and P1 will run down and back up stadium stairs while P2 completes AMRAP Curls4Girls, flapjack. Rinse and repeat changing up exercises to OH presses, Triceps then Napalms.

Station 2–Field.   Partners needed here too.  P1 will modified bear crawl tire push to first cone then sprint to next cone back to tires and push back to start where P2 will be completing AMRAP BBSU‘s.  Rinse and repeat changing up exercises to Flutter Kicks, LBC’s and Am Hammers.  Tire pushes quickly gained the #crowdpleaser of the morning award!!!

Station 3–Hill.  OYO 3 Burpees at the bottom then run 3/4 way up stopping to complete Clock Merkins then finish the climb and at top complete 20 calf raises (was for you Grout, maybe your boys can tell you all about it). Back down and R&R around the clock and alternating toes straight, toes in and toes out.

Stations were 10 mins and then rotate.  Stations time called, put away toys and meet at ticket booth.  Called on my man Caboose to lead us all in a rousing round of Boat/Canoe‘s and then with time running out a Jailbreak to the SF was called.


Announcements:  Smokehouse Christmas party is approaching, BRR training started (LOL)

Prayer concerns: Rollo’s mother, Polecat’s father, Heyward Bouknight, all battling cancer. Sara Kate in hospital, prayers for her and the Doodle family.  Camp family in the passing of Shannon Camp

Devo:  “Then Peter came to him and asked, ‘Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?’ ‘No, not seven times,’ Jesus replied, ‘but seventy times seven!’” Matthew 18:21-22

Jesus calls us all to forgive as we are forgiven!
