17 pax jumped out of the fartsack this morning to get in their workout before heading to the polls. Had they known what YHC had in store, they may have decided otherwise.  There were 16 more pax here today than at Crypt on Saturday for the Lexington blizzard.  YHC felt it necessary to punish the pax for blowing off Saturday’s workouts due to a little freezing cold rain and torrential downpours, followed by sleet and snow.

Mosey to soccer field and circle up.

  • Rinse and Repeat until 1 iron cross at top, 7 squats at bottom

Mosey to center of field and circle up for some AMRAP merkin variations.

Count off into groups of 3’s.

1’s to top of hill

2’s and 3’s at the far sideline.

On start, 1’s do prisoner squats while 2’s sprint to 1’s and 3’s do release merkins.  When 2’s get to 1’s, 1’s run down to 3’s and 2’s do prisoner squats at top of hill.  When 1’s get to 3’s, 1’s do release merkins and 3’s run up to 2’s..  So on and so on for about 10 minutes.

Double Applesauce the long way to canteen building.  Pax not too happy with Buzz Saw for recommending the long route.

Moleskin:

  • The pax were not pleased with all of the burpees at the beginning of the workout, especially in the warm up.  However, all did a great job and will be better for it.
  • Congrats to Gravedigger for not getting too confused today on when to run and when not to run. If you were at Shawshank last Thursday, you know what I’m talking about.
  • Overall, YHC was impressed with the effort put forth by everyone.  All pax are getting better and it shows.  We are starting to get more in our workouts now that we can all move a little faster.
