Absolutely beautiful weather this morning to support the PAX in the stupidity they engaged in.
Fallout started the day by getting PT exercises done in the parking lot, SweetTart parked where he thought score was, but that was actually brickpile’s parking spot. Nant’an Emeritus CESS comes screeching in on two wheels as the PAX try and guess whose truck had just pulled up.
WARMUP:
All PAX engaged in a 1 mi warm-up pace
THE THANG:
5 mi at tempo or 3 mi at tempo depending on the route

– Cess began the conversation by talking about the Netflix special he is watching about the atomic bomb. Making Cauliflower think about atoms way too early in the morning.
– PAX hit the start of the tempo portion too hard as we went downhill at the beginning.
– Cess starts to tell Fallout about all the times he’s almost been late to the CLT prompting Fallout to tell Cess that he needs to turn around.
– We collectively die on the inside and out when we charge up Barnwell Hill. Man that one was steep!
– Tempo PAX start to spread out with everyone catching their breath after the hill.
– SweetTart and YHC reminisce about Marathon training and round the corner at Segra Park and are happy to see Quaker right behind!
– Quaker said he was chasing two rabbits the whole time.
– YHC engages the rubber band on SweetTart so he doesn’t get left in the dust
– Cauliflower finds a porta potty somewhere
– ramble fly-by
– SweetTart, Quaker, Cauliflower and YHC are surprised by a few late night/early rising citizens whom two of which asked Cauliflower for money and told him to run faster.
– Discussion on the science of Cool-Downs
– SweetTart takes a potty break at Millwood Starbucks
