  • 18 Pax adventured out of the fartsack and into the gloom for a “brick” beatdown. YHC doesn’t like to play with bricks, but this a copy of my first workout 5 years ago courtesy of Fracture.

Mosey to the Brickpile and pick out your new best friends for the next 40 minutes- wait, WHERE ARE THE BRICKS? (Hangin Chad had fun with this the rest of the workout) So, from here on out anytime “bricks” are listed it is really virtual bricks!

Now the fun begins- Mosey with bricks held overhead

Circle up- Merkins x 20 on bricks- continue to mosey with Bricks overhead

Bear Crawl with Bricks to the school, lunge back (yes with the bricks and no I will not demonstrate) continue to mosey with bricks overhead to the front of school

Wall sits and arm raises with bricks. Mosey to the hill with bricks overhead (grass is not cut and trees are now on the hill so we will use the top/ bottom of the parking lot.)

Top of parking lot squats with bricks (5, 3,1) bottom of parking lot burpees with bricks (5, 3, 1)

Mosey to the brick pile. “Bricks” back on pile. Mosey to weight room alternating lunges and mosey between light post. Turn around- sprint/ Mosey alternating light post to Helipad.

YHC had a short devo to read, but I decided to say something about my 5 years in F3. My first workout was tough, but I pushed to do what I could (more than Hangin Chad today I’m sure). Many people that don’t know what all three Fs stand for, think this is “just a workout”. I learned quickly that it is much more. All that these fine men do for others in the community is amazing. Also, helping each other in their faith journey. I am definitely better than I was before starting F3. Often heard at the end of workouts, “Be a better husband, father, boss, co-worker, & shine the light for someone today”
