Called for PAX to Mosey to the block pile and led them in a different direction. Immediately the Mumble chatter started as the pax wondered why YHC was leading them in the wrong direction. Actually there was a block pile ,it was in the back of YHC’s pickup truck. The Pax soon realized that the old blocks from The Stand(@F3TheStand) were now being integrated into Snakepits stash to keep up with our growing pax.
Over 20 blocks, and 2 coils of firehose would be moved to the Snakepit block pile near the end of the workout. Thanks Brainiac for watching the time and keeping YHC on task.
Warm up in the usual fashion with various exercises
Grab a block and finish last weeks workout
Reps 6 , 12, 18, 24 of each set of 2 different exercises with block then same reps/cycles in a movement called by YHC
Z press / skull crushers w block
The Z press is a telling littte exercise for core stabilization and shoulder work. Sit with legs straight out in front of you and OH press something without falling over.
Crawl bears 6 12 18 24 count each time R foot hits ground
Mtn climbers 2ct / plank Jacks on block
Duck walk 6 12 18 24 count each time R foot hits ground
Staggered merkins(split reps)/chest press w blocks
Crab walk 6 12 18 24 count each time R foot hits ground
Remaining time spent giving each pax 2 blocks to farmers carry beside school, down big boy stairs, and along hillside to block pile. Mosey back to flag
