YHC saw an opening on the Q sheet and grabbed it both for myself and the guys to hopefully get a little better this morning. Had a great time out this morning…still hot and muggy and feel like we’ve just jumped in the pool. Folks know that YHC likes burpees and that they’re typically a part of any workout that I lead so it was good to have a good crowd out today even when they know what to expect. Says a lot about these men in search of some #betterment.

It’s easy to think that this verse doesn’t apply to us anymore, since we don’t pray to false gods and we can forecast the rain. But getting to the heart of the matter, an idol is anything we put our trust in. Isn’t it true that we rely less upon God when we have money in our pocket and food in our pantry?
