Someone Was Louder Than Spackle?

Traveled over to see the men of Graveyard on Thursday morning for some fun.  They came out in full force and (mostly) killed the workout.  Here’s what we did.

Mosey into football stadium to press box area

20 Side straddle hops IC (Nail Pop starts jawing about 100 SSH or something)

10 Through the tunnel IC

20 Side straddle hops IC

10 Imperial walkers IC

20 Side straddle hops IC (murmurs begin, Nail Pop figures out what’s happening)

10 Merkins OYO

20 Side straddle hops IC

10 Frog squats OYO

20 Side straddle hops IC

10 Six count burpees IC

Mosey down bleachers to football field, line up at back line of end zone for some EMOM work.

Every minute on the minute, perform the following:

5 merkins

5 frog squats

Run to the 10 yard line

2 burpees

Run back to the back line

Rest for any time left over

We completed five rounds and went for an Indian RunSprint around the football field

Line up on back line for more EMOM, this round do:

5 merkins

5 frog squats

Run to the 10 yard line

3 burpees

Run back to the end line

Rest for any time left over

We completed ten rounds and went for a properly paced Indian Run around the football field.

Graveyard PAX were beginning to whine about things so we switched to another EMOM favorite of mine.  You have one minute to complete the called exercise, rest for whatever is left over.  We did:

18 Bonnie Blairs, 12 Bonnie Blairs, 6 Bonnie Blairs (1 minute each)

18 frog squats, 12 frog squats, 6 frog squats

18 BBSU, 12 BBSU, 6 BBSU

9 burpees, 6 burpees, 3 burpees

PAX grew strangely quiet during this…

Jog to back end line of other end zone and wait for the six.

100 yard sprint goal line to goal line

Back to the flag

That man Breaker Breaker is a beast! Made light work of the Indian Runs

Spackle was surprisingly quiet aside from one comment when I first showed up.  Hope that heel feels better, Spack! It’s just not the same when you don’t get called Froo Froo

Rebar was louder than and complained more than Spackle.  File that under “Sentences I never thought I’d type”

Bulldog with the excellent DJ as always, providing us with some Boston and Bon Jovi.  Bravo!

Always enjoy hanging out with the dudes of my (alleged) home AO.  Look forward to being back, maybe even seeing Short Haul, who knows…
