DEVO:

PSALM 128:1-2

Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in his ways.  You will eat the fruit of your labor, blessings and prosperity will be yours.

In Biblical writings, this is what is known as Wisdom Literature.  In other words, this is not a mathematical equation.  If you do this and that, you will have a prosperous life.  Instead, Wisdom Literature means even though there are no guarantees in life, if you do this, you will set yourself up to be in the best place to experience the best that God has to offer. So, what is the recipe?  “Blessed are all who fear the Lord.” That means what?

PROVERBS 1:7

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Fear the Lord; this does not mean be afraid of Him.  In other words, respect for, in awe of. An understanding and acceptance that HE knows more than you do about how best to live your life.  Fear of means a desire to find out what He would want you to do and the steadfast willingness to do it.
