YHC signed was happy to make the trip down Hwy 1 to Surge on this not so cool December morning. YHC had already checked out some of the fast runs from the Surge regulars on Strava and knew much running would be out of the question as the Q can’t lead from the back of the pack so after scouting out this AO on a trip into the big metropolis of Lexington to hit up Ole Time last weekend the weinke was formulated. Saw the many light poles that i had planned on using for lighted reference points but as the clown car with YHC and 3 of Smokehouse’s finest pulled in it was awfully dark so the holiday break school out thing seemed to now throw a small kink in the plans. No matter, time was drawing near so lets do it in the dark.

P1 exercises/P2 farmer carries blocks around roundabout, flapjack until total reps complete
100 Merkins 200 Am. Hammers 300 Squats
Mosey to side parking lot and line up for B.O.M.B.S
OYO–Burpees, Overhead press, Merkins (decline), BBSU, Squats 5/10/15/20/25 then Cusak block to opposite light pole and repeat BOMBS. Rinse and repeat until time to put blocks up
Circle up for Mary…I meant Sally (another Smokehouse fav-Sally up Sally down squats)
1 min left turned it over to Wilson for some boat/canoes to finish off the morning.
