(Written by and humbly posted for Turnbuckle)
YHC needed to make up for a bad Q at the Hollow so why not go back and repeat some H.U.M.P.S. It worked the first time so let’s roll it out again. Great work by the men on a very humid and gnat friendly morning.
Conditions: 66 and humid.
The Thang: disclaimer, prayer and mosey to the main field.
SSH x 20IC
TTT x 20IC
LBAC x 20IC forwards then backerds
Squats x 20IC
Overhead claps x 20IC
Mosey to the brick pile and grab your choice of bricks or blocks. Then mosey back to the field for some H.U.M.P.S.
Circle up then rinse and repeat the following OYO:
Heel Touches x 15
Upright Rows x 15
Merkins x 15
Plank Jacks x 15
Shoulder Press x 15
While these are being done, 1 pax will peel off and run backwards up Mount Midway for a Jacob’s ladder of burpees. Start with 5 then 4, 3, 2 then 1. Return to the circle then the next pax will take their turn. This is a quad killer as it looked better on paper.
When everyone has had their turn, line up at the bottom of the hill. 10 Iron Crosses, run up the hill, 10 BBSU, then run back down the hill. Imperial Walkers until the 6 is finished. Jacob’s ladder until you get to 1 Iron Cross and 1 BBSU.
Walk back to your bricks/blocks. Dealer’s choice while the the pax that chooses the exercise runs a lap around the track.
Fast Casual = LBCs
Spur = merkins
Peggy = chest press
Dance Machine = squats
No Excuse = flutter kicks
Time’s up. Head back to the brick pile then to COT.
Thank you to the men who showed up this morning.
Dance Machine’s friend Ron Alexander was at the beach in NC with his family. He went swimming one morning and the riptide took him out and he drowned. Prayers for his family.
Turnbuckle’s friend Mark was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy
