Conditions: The weather was weather
Nursing a knee issue so I didn’t run SL – not sure how many did
1 minute warning
Disclaimer – Listen to your body, modify if needed….blah blah blah
Start off with 20 merkins immediately following opening prayer.
Head to the court yard
SSH x 25
6-count burpees x5
Jump Squats x 25
6 count burpee x 5
BBSU x 25
5 count burpee x 5
Now that the easy part was over we grabbed blocks and went next to the batting cages. Plan was to go to the field but grass was wet and that didn’t interest me.
Next was short version of power hour – each song played for 60 second with a specified exercise. Once the next song started – no break – and start next exercise. This is a youtube mix up so I take no responsibility for some of the crappy songs although they did start off pretty strong. Parking Lot indicated one of the songs came out in 1983 which I let him know made me negative one years old.
Curls – “I don’t want to lose your love tonight” – The Outfield
American Hammer w/ blocks – “Jessie’s Girl” – Rick Springfield
Block Squats – “Summer of ‘69” – Bryan Adams
Chest Press – “Pour some sugar on me” – Def Leppard
Mtn Climber – “Anyway you want it” – Journey
Block Swings – “Hungry like the wolf” – Duran Duran
Flutter Kicks – “Fat bottomed girls” – Queen
Merkins – “You give love a bad name” – Bon Jovi
LBC’s – “Uptown Girl” – Billy Joel
Elf on the Shelf – “Never gonna give you up” – Rick Astley
Music started really going downhill so I called and end of the horrible music.
Put block up and head to the loading dock, partner up.
Partner A on top of loading dock does SSH’s until he is relieved by partner B
Partner B was on gravel doing 22 reps. 5 merkins, 5 mount climbers, repeat until you hit 22 reps and then switch. Partner B does 21, switch, Partner A does 20……you get the idea although is was tough to grasp for some pax’s this morning.
I didn’t expect us to finish in time and when we surprisingly did, we hit the courtyard for Mary. Can’t remember all that we did but it was BBSU’s, gas pumps……. memory is blurry
It’s always a good time with the #Hollow boys but missing a bunch of Hollow regulars this morning. Still great effort was put in by the guys who got out of bed and showed up.
Recover to the flag:
*Dam to Dam upcoming
*Why did WH leave early…….it was determined his lady part was hurting
*Still collecting shoes in memory of digits
*Dangle – positive results for Friday
Until next time………
