Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down and I’d like to take a minute just sit right there, i’ll tell you how I become the prince of….. well just the Q, but I did feel princely, full of power over the PAX, mainly because there was no math.
Weather:
Standard February for the metropolis of Ballentine, SC (home of the appropriately named – Representative Stagecoach Ballentine – who was noticeably fartsacking). Crisp 42 degrees, no rain, but the fields and track were wet, causing multiple audibles. By wet I mean a sloppy, muddy mess, also standard for Depot
One Minute Warning and Disclosures may or may not have been given, but all were Depot Veterans, and I’m sure they knew I was not a professional…
The Thang
We warmed up… minimally…. the standard is the standard

Run to the Light Pole on the other side of the soccer field
- Audible 1 – After first run to light pole and the sloppy mess of Depot angered many pax, the People’s Q gave the PAX what they wanted, and they ran to the middle of parking lot going forward
Repeat for 5 total reps
Shall we continue? We shall!
Mosey to block pile, grab your favorite block, head to track
Cusack block as far as you can around the track, once the block comes down:
10 merkins, 10 big boys, 10 iron cross, 5 burpees, then run lap around track back to your block. Back up with the block, Cusack until you can’t, then repeat as you move the block around the track.
- Audible 2 – well this was just a suggestion, bottom corner of track was crazy muddy, divert to the LEFT around puddle, which was surprisingly way drier than the high side to the right of the track, maybe Representative Stagecoach Ballentine can talk to one of his newly appointed recreation commissioners to work on the drainage there….)
T Claps to Phonebooth and STH for carrying their blocks the farthest, and T Claps to 50 (soft toss) for bringing back the mumble chatter, unfortunately the chatter did not come from the mouth….There was a suggestion to have a secret stash of TP at Depot for ST (well others some time, but mainly ST). Most PAX got 3-4 laps in around the track as they progressed the block around.

Recover Recover – Blocks Up
In all – my chronometer manufactured by Fitbit (probably in an Asian country) measured not only the time (as all good chronometers do) but also my distance traveled throughout today’s mandatory BC/P200 forced training by the People’s Q. Basically the QIC needs to train more and with the power bestowed upon him, took advantage of the PAX. Some were angry who do not like running, but it was the order of the day, so they obliged. I showed 2.25 miles covered, felt like more, which is probably a bad thing for the upcoming P200. Great work by all for the full body workout, proud of those manly men at the Depot today. Also proud of Pantyhose for running and getting lost in Milford Park….. good to see him back out there, even though he didn’t make it back for the COT.
Announcements:
Thursday Thursday this week at San Jose’s
Fire Truck Pull – Jazz Hands has volunteered to pull a truck by himself, or be contact for a team, not really volunteered, but he brought it up, so he’s now the contact
P200 is approaching – in case you didn’t pick up on that yet…
