Frozen Brick Wielding Workout

So when I planned out this workout, I was imagining a breezy 70 degrees… Reality struck when we gathered at 0530 with a frigid-windy 30 degrees. Yep we’re doing this!

Warmup

Side Straddle Hops x 20
Windmills x 15
Imperial Walkers x 10
Hillbillies x 10

Mosey to brick pile, each PAX grabs 2 bricks.

Exercise

Mosey to bottom of the winding driveway. Wing spans x 10.
Mosey to top of the Depot entrance. Wing spans x 10.
Mosey to Elementary school driveway entrance. Wing spans x 10.
PAX line up along the thin stretch of grass between driveways. Starting at one light pole, Bear Crawl with bricks from one light pole to the next.

Hill Work

Partner up. One PAX in the group will mosey up the hill with their bricks and lay the bricks down on top of the hill. The PAX will then mosey down the hill then back up to pick up their bricks. PAX will mosey back down the hill and relieve their partner who is performing exercises. The other PAX will repeat the hill exercise. The group will perform in total the following exercises:

  • 150 Shoulder Press
  • 150 Curls
  • 100 Squats with Bricks
  • 75 Triceps

Stairs Work

PAX mosey to the stairs located on the side of the Elementary school. Perform 10 Merkins, mosey down the stairs and back up. Repeat the exercise and reduce the number of Merkin reps by 1. When finished, mosey back to brick pile at Depot.

Marries

Each PAX leads the group with a marry in cadence.
