Today showed that through continuous work, you can improve. This is not to say that if you continue to do the same thing you will improve but if you work, you can improve. We had several runners set PR in what is typically a standard mid week 5+K run. Some focused on reducing their time while others stretched it out a little further and still had PR.

The Thang:
Departed Blockbuster with the intent to run down St. Andrews Road past Irmo High school to the 1.6 mile spot and make the return trip. As we approached, someone asked, do you want to keep going? So some of us continued past the normal turning point. Total distances ran were between 3.2 miles and 4.0 miles. Great run on a beautiful morning.
