11 pax posted for YHC’s guest Q.  It was a solid showing by all the pax and mumblechatter was strong for the duration of boot camp.  Great work men, and I appreciate you allowing me to join you.  As for the workout, here is how it went.

Mosey around the perimeter of the AO and do a burpee at each brick column

Mosey onto the field near the Concrete Pads
Starting point 25 yards in front of the Concrete Pads
4 Exercises with x20 reps each to be completed at each Pad
Bobbly Hurleys
Prisoner Squats
Plank Jump-Ins
Smurf Jacks
Return back to the starting point after completing reps at each pad and do x5 Manmakers
Movement exercises from the starting point to concrete pads and back
Pad 1 – Bear Crawl
Pad 2 – Lunge
Pad 3 – Imperial Walker
Pad 4 – Crab Walk

Mosey to the Hill
Clock Merkins – start with 12 o’clock and end with 12 o’clock

Mosey to the Platform Seats
1. Box Jump to the 1st step
2. Return to the base and complete x5 Squats
3. Box Jump to the 1st step and to the 2nd step
4. Return to the base and complete x5 Squats
5. Repeat adding an additional step each round until you reach the top, and then work your way back down to step 1.

Devo:  Be the Coffee Bean

While we cannot always control the circumstances we are in, we can control how we respond to them.  We have a choice.  We can be like an Egg, a Carrot, or a Coffee Bean.  When placed in the pot of boiling water, an Egg is hardened.  A Carrot is weakened.  Do not be like either.  Instead be like the Coffee Bean.  It transforms the water into something more.  Just like the Coffee Bean, you have the power inside you to transform the environment around you.  You don’t have to let your circumstances define you.  You can define your circumstances.  No matter how difficult the environment, you have the power to help change it.  Don’t give up.  Be like the Coffee Bean today!
