13 brave PAX emerged from their warm fart sacks to embrace sub frozen temperatures. Deebo wanted to bring a little beat down to the school yard that was a lil different than the norm. Not a single Merkin or Burbee was had.
Here’s how it went:
Conditions: 27 degrees and frozen water on the tractor tire. No shortage of hot air mumblechatter
-LBAC 15 (IC) in each direction
-Postal’s favorite: TTT 15 (IC), done correctly (with the clap)
-Windmill 15 (IC) (done incorrectly by the Q)
Imperial Walker 15 (IC)
(Count is approximate. Some exercises ensued until the mumble chatter stopped, and some continued because Deebo needs to polish his count off skills…)
The PAX were then assembled in a somewhat single-file line where an Indian run commenced around the outer parking lot perimeter. The PAX were then gathered at the front school entrance where the stations were laid out:
- Tire smash (one 8 lb and one 12 lb sledge hammer were in attendance)
- Bench Step-ups with knee raises
- Battle ropes
- -Kettlebell(or block) swings OR option to do squats.
- Block curls
The PAX were instructed to go through each station where 5 reps at each station would be completed, followed by a lap around the parking lot. They were to return to the stations where a single rep would be added to each station. Rinse and repeat until time was up.
A portion of song lyrics from Lecrae’s “Take me as I am” were read and we discussed how it’s easy to ask God for us to accept us despite our flaws, but not always easy to take other as they are.
