This was the first Urban Legend Q for YHC. I always enjoy coming out and seeing the sights of downtown Lexington during the early hours of a Friday morning. Major props to Argyle for volunteering me to Q. This guy knows how to delegate and get after it at the same time. 9 pax did the harder thing and entered the gloom with the mindset to get better. These guys push each other to get better each week. If you have not been to Urban Legend yet, you are missing out a great time with a group of great men. YHC delivered a fine disclaimer and an opening prayer and then we hit it.
Mosey through a couple parking lot aisles and end up in a circle.
The warmup:
SSH IC x 20
LBAC IC x 10 (forward and reverse)
Merkins IC x 10
Mosey to lower ramp of the parking garage oozing with humidity.
The Thang:
10 burpees then jog up the ramp
20 Iron Crosses
Lunge across the upper parking deck and hit the curb for 40 calf raises
Mosey down the ramp and lay into 15 hand-release merkins
Bear Crawl to the second pole (bear crawl was dropped after round 3) and then mosey down one aisle and up another for 20 squats
Mosey back to the lower ramp and repeat this little circuit 4 more times (5 rounds total with some pax starting on 6 when time was called)
Mosey to the far end of the parking lot and run up the hill towards Main St for 15 plank jacks and then back to the bottom of the hill for a little planking while the gang waited for me
Mosey back to the shovel flag for a few minutes of Mary.
