13 PAX showed up at Shawshank this morning to get better and YHC was hoping he wouldn’t let anyone down. It was one of those mornings for me where I just really wasn’t feeling it, but being back at the Shank on that familiar soggy ground and seeing all of those familiar faces (and bald heads) made it all worth it and gave me the push I needed to get through my 2nd BC Q. YHC planned what he thought would be a brutally tough workout for this morning, and these men crushed it! Some Sheldon Cooper fun was had and buckets full of sweat was spilled. Here’s what went down:

The Thang:
The Sheldon Cooper
Run 1 lap around the soccer field.
10 burpees, 10 squats, 10 hand-release merkins, 10 big boy situps.
Run 1 lap around the soccer field.
9 burpees, 9 squats, 9 hand-release merkins, 9 big boy situps.
Repeat this pattern decreasing the exercises by 1 after each lap until you reach 1 or time is called.
Mosey to the block pile and grab a block. Lunge walk with the block up the small hill and form a circle behind the soccer goal.
Curls for the girls x 20 OYO
Block swings x 20 OYO
Block drag merkins x 20 OYO
Shoulder to shoulder squats x 20 OYO
Overhead presses x 20 OYO
Return the blocks to the block pile and mosey back to the shovel flag being sure to bear crawl across the bridge for a little added fun.
