In the almost 4 years I have been going to Saturday boot camps the numbers have never been much to brag about. Today was one of those days. Although the numbers are small I refuse to let that discourage me from making myself better. I‘m glad Inuit showed up cause otherwise I would have been all alone on a humid 75 degree clear morning. Football has started, but is doesn’t quite feel like it. All 2 of us got better with a boot camp while 2 others got better running for 13 miles.
After disclaimer and opening prayer Mosey around parking lot. Warm up with Ssh, TT tunnel, Imperial walkers, hillbilly walkers etc. Pick up 2 brick and slowsly to the new school to the car pool loop which is at least a 1/4 mile.
Draw from card deck with exercises written on them. Start with 5 reps. Walk with bricks; while doing your choice of curls, OH press, triceps exit to the middle of loop. Increase 5 reps by five at different parts of the loop going up to 20 and back down to 5 at start point. We did merchans, squats, lunges, Freddy mercury, and mountain climbers.
And recover. No announcements, no prayer requests. Wait on the 2 runners and dismiss to ☕ where there was 100% participation.
