Family Feud F3 Style

Today’s Q was inspired by a recent family road trip to Florida where boredum had set in and a break was needed from the electronics.  My M found some Family Feud style questions and answers and we took turns trying to guess the top 5 answers.  I wanted a break from the normal BC and decided to combine some aspects of the Family Feud gameshow you all have watched on TV with some of the exercises we typically run through at BC.  Fun was had and work was done.  I channeled my best Steve Harvey and here are the results:

Mosey around the parking lot over to the courtyard, mixing in some High Knees and Butt Kickers


SSH x 15 IC

LBAC’s x 10 IC (forward and reverse)

The Thang:

Partner up and each grab a block and come back to the courtyard.  Form 2 lines opposite your partner facing each other.  Pax on the left became Team 1 and Pax on the right are Team 2.

Family Feud:  Based upon the “real” game, one guy from each team comes to the center to face off, by taking a knee with a frisbee in the middle.  Question was read and the first pax to grab the frisbee got to answer first.  If they guessed the top answer on the board, they win the round.  Anything less than the top answer, gave the other pax in the face off a chance to answer.  Highest ranked answer won the round.  If both guesses were not on the board, we went to one team answer from each to see who could guess the highest one.  The winner of each round got to select the exercise their team would completed from the list, losing team had to complete the other excercise.  Rinse and repeat for approx 11 rounds.  Here is a list of the exercises for each round:

Rd 1.  50 BBSU’s or 75 LBC’s

Rd 2.  35 Curls for the Girls or 35 Overhead Tricep Ext

Rd 3.  40 SSH (4ct) or 40 Bobby Hurley’s

Rd 4.  20 Thrusters or 35 KB Swings

Rd 5.  25 Front Squats w/block or 35 Sumo Squats w/block

Rd 6.  30 Mountain Climbers (4ct) or 30 American Hammer’s (4ct)

Rd 7.  Bear Crawl or Crab Walk (to the 3rd light pole)

Rd 8.  50 Merkins or 100 Chest Presses

Rd 9.  30 Freddy Mercury’s or 50 Flutter Kicks

Rd 10.  40 Shoulder Press or 40 Overhead Claps

Rd 11.  25 Burpees or 25 Block Burpees(jump over block after each burpee)

Move to the wall for 1 minute of Peoples Chair with block.  Return the blocks to the pile and lunge to the Shovel Flag
