A nice morning in the gloom for the boys of Detention to take a little trip up the road to see if the softball fields were still in working order.
1 minute warning (nice work by Over Exposed and Banjo showing up inside the 1 minute warning), disclaimer, prayer.
Mosey to softball fields the back way to the field closest to municipal court.
Starting at the pitchers rubber (no mounds b/c softball) do a burpee for each position’s number on a baseball score sheet
1 – pitcher
2 – catcher
3 – 1B
4 – 2B
5 – 3B
6 – SS
7 – LF
8 – CF
9 – RF
45 total burpees
Run foul pole to foul pole at a 75% clip. Touch the fence and run back.
Backpedal foul pole to foul pole. Touch the fence and backpedal back.
Starting at home plate, lunge to first base, reverse lunge to second base, lunge to third base, reverse lunge to home plate. I call this the Home Lun-ge.
Find a pole to do a wall sit against. Each PAX takes a turn running the bases while all the other PAX hold their wall sit.
Beep test in the parking lot. 2 cones (thanks Stinkbait) 20 meters apart. App on the phone supplies progressively faster beeps. PAX must run from cone to cone before the next beep. We made 40 laps. Great work!
Indian Run back to the edge of Detention field.
Jailbreak to flag.
Dec. 9 – H4T turns 30 Drop In

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.
In this holiday season and life in general, be patient with people, be slow to anger. Need to constantly remind myself of this. Everyone is going through stuff just the same as we are so be slow to become angry.
Great work today men, it was fun as always.
