Bricks and Airplanes

YHC was scheduled to Q in a couple of weeks but was moved up in the rotation due to an unnamed pax battling a groin issue. No questions were asked but the swap was made. Happy to help out a bro who has a raw nether region. 

Coon Dog and Brick crushed SL before BC. Awesome work, gents. Keep it up and you will soon have a physique like me. They wore matching yellow shirts and rocked the neighborhood early. 

Garth returned from his world travels still happily married. Good decisions made on the trip and the mustache looked great.

Duff, the master of committing to events 6 months from now but typically out of town for BC’s, had a strong showing this morning. Will we see him Saturday? Doubtful. Next week? Nope. But we had him for 45 minutes this morning so we are blessed.

No weinke, no whiteboard this morning. The entire workout was in the brain and it was communicated with great clarity and the pax seemed to grasp the concept about 42 minutes in. Not a bad day.

Weather: 68 and humid.

Mosey to the block pile and grab a coupon and 2 bricks.

Head over to the near field which was surprisingly dry. Drop the blocks and bricks then circle up for a great COP.

4 corners:

Corner 1 – curls, oh presses, bent over rows

Corner 2 – squats, merkins

Corner 3 – 2 ct mountain climbers, lbc’s

Corner 4 – lateral raises

Reps started at 21 for each exercise and decreased by 1 each round. We made it to 15 (126 reps of each exercise).

Mosey to each corner with the bricks and the special treat was after corner 4. Mosey back to the block while holding your arms out like airplane wings and make a plane sound while moseying. This was the fun part. Interesting sounding planes in this group.

Recover, return blocks and bricks, mosey to the flag.

Devo: More of a though but the verse that applies is in Proverbs – Iron sharpens Iron. Be mindful of folks who always say they are fine. A lot of times it is usually the cliche answer so others can’t get too close or dig deeper into issues. Many are not fine and need someone to help.
