With a slight chill in the air, the shovel flag fluttering upon a slight breeze and a shooting star or two sailing across the early morning sky, 10 PAX chose to put their feet on the ground in the gloom of Speedtrap in efforts to get better. For those PAX who have been training for Kiawah, nursing injuries or are finding it difficult to overcome the lure of the fartsack these days, there’s no better time than now to get back out to your AO and re-join your brothers for F3 (if you’re able, listen to your body) and reap all of the benefits thereof. The sweltering heat and humidity has turned to cool, brisk temperatures. Yes, the workouts bring physical strength (or injury if you’re Stirrups doing box jumps) but the 2nd F is what motivates YHC to set the alarm the night before bootcamp. The Fellowship with the PAX brings good cheer to anyone, especially this time of year. Let’s see what kind of cheer we could muster up today. No FNG’s, disclaimer given, off we went…

It’s officially Christmastime and there’s one reason why we celebrate this time of year; our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is the gift that keeps on giving. Many times in our busy lives we forget that He is a gift to us every day. There is another gift in YHC’s and the lives of the PAX that keeps on giving; F3. While we remain a strong unit, we need to reach out to our brothers who haven’t been in a while or have not been able to come as frequently. This thing called F3 is a blessing. We need not ever forget that. Don’t let the honeymoon period sunset. Keep the love alive for F3, sign up to Q and bring your God-given leadership abilities and creativity…we all benefit from it. Hold each other accountable, set your alarm clock, call or text a brother if you need a ride or the push to come back out. But come and get better. Jesus said, “Where one or two are gathered in My name, I am there among them.” Do yourself (and your loved ones) a favor…post regularly at F3. We are all better men because of it. Merry Christmas!
