YHC is not the most imaginative guy in the world. So when it is my time to lead I often borrow ideas from other PAX around the region. Well I got my inspiration for this workout from my man Lumbergh over at Depot.
Made a few tweaks but it did not suck any less.
- SSH x 20
- Windmill X 20
- TTT X 20
- Little Arm Circles x 15 both ways
Grab a cinder block and split up into teams. Team are split up by year of birth. Even years on one team and odd years on the other. With you team start at end of the parking lot and do the following at each light post.
10-10-10 (10 Merkins on block, 10 Curls, 10 Overhead Shoulder Press)
Mosey with block to soccer field
Stay with your teams.
Both teams built a wall in the center of the field then lined up along the sideline.
Relay had a pax sprint to block wall, retrieve a block, and sprint back.
Even birth year team won choosing to have the losing team perform 20 Burpees. Winning team performed 10 reps.
Starting at opposite end run the race again.
Even birth year team won choosing to have the losing team perform 20 BBS. Winning team performed 10 reps and we returned blocks back to the block pile.
Mosey to school and get a piece of wall.
1 min wall sit
1 min of Plank
Rinse and repeat 3 times
Mosey to courtyard.
Start at fountain and do 12 BBS. Bear crawl to edge of brick walkway and then run up ramp and back to fountain.
Knock off 1 rep each time.
Pax got somewhere between 4-5 sets done before it was time to mosey back to Shovel Flag.
