After a lengthy bootcamp hiatus this spring, Bellhop returns to the gloom in earnest to pick back up. Many thanks to those who texted, called, or emailed during this time. A lot has been going on at work (and unfortunately still is); however, YHC is resolved to resume training and getting better with his pax from @F3LakeMurray.
9 pax showed up this humid and muggy morning for the treat that was introduced by Pothole back during the winter of 2018 known as “Pothole’s Murderous Mile,” or as Hostel put it when YHC wasn’t adroitly explaining the movement, “Suicide Lightpoles.” Work was done.

Mosey over to (Lighted) Handball Fields. Schoolhouse circle. Explanation of the movement.
Starting at the lightpole closest to the gate, do 20x monkey humpers (we had to collectively decide that because YHC couldn’t remember the word “flutterkicks”), then run to the next lightpole. At that lightpole, do 20x big boys. Return to anchor lightpole, do 20x monkeyhumpers, then run the next distant lightpole. Do 20x big boys. Keep doing this for every light pole on the soccer field. About 25 mins. Time called/recover at 0600.
Mosey to the hill. Starting at the bottom, run up and down the hill and then back to the top. Do 20x SSH. Then run to the bottom, run back up, and then back down. Do 20x squats. Rinse and repeat. AMRAP for approx. 10 mins. Time called at 0610.
