6 pax honored their HCs at The Roost this morning. With rainy weather the temptation to fart sack drastically increases but these men kept their word and got really wet and better at the same time. Here’s how it went down:
Conditions: Around 60, breezy, and rainy with not a dry spot in sight
Warm up lap around the track and explanation that all exercises called would be in 11s format (10/1, 9/2, 8/3….1/10).
On track: SSH/LBCs Might as well get those backsides good and wet. I think Funnel Cake finally got his jacket zipped up at the midway point.
Run around front of the school down to amphitheater: Dips/Step Ups
Run down front of school and out to the outer loop: Burpees/Lunges #crowdpleaser
Continue around loop through halfpipe and grab a block at top of suicide hill: Thrusters/Monkey Humpers #anothercrowdpleaser
Stay there for: Chest Press/Hold Block up (YHC counts this one out for pax in mush mouth cadence)
Head back to upper parking lot to far corner of tennis courts: Merkins/Planks Jacks (pax knew they wouldn’t get away without doing this one)
Head back to front of school to amphitheater ramp and grab some rail: Pull ups/Squats.
Back to shovel flag for: Flutters (IC) x 11, 6 inches, 45, spread em, 45, 6 inches, Flutters (IC) x 11
Solid work by all this morning. 7 stations of 11s. The pax forgot about the rain once the we hit the burpees. 2.1 miles covered. Glad Bud’s hat got a little wash.
