H-A-L-L-O-W-E-E-N at LEGION

YHC’s past visits to LEGION were a bit dark.  It was apparent they’re getting some upgrades to the AO.  All new playground and shelter are under construction.  New toys for the boys in the future.  Hope they get some input.

4 PAX posted for what seemed to be an average workout at Legion.  Nothing easy goes on at Legion.  These guys ramp it up twice a week, every week!  They don’t play.  Enough of the chit chat, here’s the THANG!

Conditions:  Cool.  Perfect for a great workout.

Depart the AO parking lot and mosey all the way down Munsen Spring Dr to front lawn of somebody’s office on Garners Ferry Road.  Circle up for a little circuit.  All IC.

Run back to the AO Parking lot stopping just short at the intersection of Munsen Spring Dr. and Landon Ln.  Repeat the circuit.  Then begin the workout.

H – Hurpees (Hand Release Burpees)  25 OYO

Mosey to the intersection of Landon Ln and Brandon Ave for.

A – ABC’s (Flutter Kicks with a twist).  Spell the ABC’s with your legs.

L – Lunge Walk about 40 yds.

L – Take a lap around the Legion Loop.  (1/2 mile)

O – Outlaw situps.  Bottom of feet touching so your legs look somewhat like an “O” and do 25 OYO in the Jump Ball circle of the basketball court.  Looks like an “O”.

W – Wilt Chamberlain.  YHC had to search deep into the Lexicon exercise dictionary to find this.  We modified it a bit.  At each corner of the basketball court 100 of an exercise were performed before moving to the next corner.  In honor of Wilt’s 100 point game.

E – Back to center court for ELEVENS (a.k.a. Hustler Mercans).  1 Mercan with 4 Raise the Roof’s.  We began with 10 Mercans and 1 set of Raise the roof’s.  Then 9 mercans and 2 sets of Raise the Roof’s and so on matching the total reps to 11.

Mosey to the tennis courts.

E – Escalator.  Same circuit of exercises as before.  SSH, Mercans, LBC’s, and Squats.  10, 20, 30, 40.

N – 2 Nadal’s.  Stand on one the fences of the tennis court and run a suicide touching the doubles court sideline, back to the fence.  Touch the singles court side line, back to the fence.  Touch the center court line, back to the fence.  Touch the other singles court sideline, back to the fence.  Touch the other doubles court sideline, back to the fence.  Touch the opposite fence and back.  We thought he had 2 titles at the US Open but found out he actually won 3.  Sorry to cut you guys short.

Mosey back to the parking lot for the final 3 minutes of Mary.  All IC.
