- Jesus often said, “He who has ears, let him hear.” Our modern-day equivalent to that phrase is, “I get it.” Thing is, we can hear and know by heart verses like John 3:16 and not really “get it.” It’s been said that there is no one so blind as he who won’t see and no one so deaf as he who won’t hear.
