Devo: 2 Corinthians 3:4-6, Psalm 68:35. Confidence is critical for success, whether on the ballfield, boardroom, or in your Christian walk. But for the person who has placed his faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, God becomes our confidence. He has made us competent, for His purposes, “ministers of a new covenant”. We can complete confidence that no matter our fumbling attempts, God will see things through to completion for his glorious ends. We still have a responsibility, to train hard, to work hard, to “not train until we get it right, but until we can’t get it wrong”. But the final result belongs to God. “Awesome is God from his sanctuary; the God of Israel- he is the one who gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God! -Ps 68:35
