Bearmuda Triangle claims no victims…story at 11

Conditions: Cold as a polar bears toenails, temporarily

Tha Thang:

8 pax were warned about upcoming upper body pain, and they showed up anyway. I was forced to oblige.

Mosey to COP

SSH, Imperial Squat Walkers, LBAC, OHC, Flippers, Merkins, Drydocks, BBSU. Mosey via single Indian Run.

ISWs. Sprint to Crabby Corner. Obtain 2 blocks each. Farmers Carry to corner.

Curls. Tri Extensions. R and R. A little more curls. Attempt at double-block row (failed due to height), pivot to single block. Farmers Carry to tennis courts.

Introducing the Bearmuda Triangle (isosceles, equilateral, bla blah). 3 corners of the court, at each corner do Burpees, bearcrawl between, Air Chair. 6 reps on first lap, 4 on 2nd lap, 2 on 3rd lap but with a twist, can only use one arm. Grumblechatter was met with explicit threats. #crowdpleaser

Leave 1 block on top of the hill, Cusack 1 to the bottom. At bottom, 20 curls/20 LBC, run up, at top do 20 tri extension/20 Iron Cross, run back down. Rinse and repeat 2 more times. Plank work. Cusack back up. Napalms x 8. Retrieve 2nd block and return to their home.

Mosey double Indian quick to home plate/stadium. Alphabet Abs. Offer to show the pax something in a dark place. They wisely were hesitant, yet YHC persisted and they were shown The Hidden Pullup Parlor!!! (okay, its just 2 uneven branches that actually can support some weight, while we await our new playground). Funny, the pax weren’t as happy as I.

Flutter kick in teams of 4 while one partner does pullups to exhaustion. Repeat with Derkin/Dplank.

Bunny hop up steps x 3.

Extra plankwork was done at some point. Extra Mary at some point.

Announcements: Safety Is The Standard. In light of recent events, F3 Columbia is making a push for enforcing safety. In addition to standard safety tips, please attempt to wear reflective gear of some sort.

Please pray for Mission guys as they battle things.

Bull AOQ handoff on Monday which is a Stumblevergence. Friday Stumble includes 1000mile recognition.

Devo: 2 Corinthians 3:4-6, Psalm 68:35. Confidence is critical for success, whether on the ballfield, boardroom, or in your Christian walk. But for the person who has placed his faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, God becomes our confidence. He has made us competent, for His purposes, “ministers of a new covenant”. We can complete confidence that no matter our fumbling attempts, God will see things through to completion for his glorious ends. We still have a responsibility, to train hard, to work hard, to “not train until we get it right, but until we can’t get it wrong”. But the final result belongs to God. “Awesome is God from his sanctuary; the God of Israel- he is the one who gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God! -Ps 68:35
