Donut Run

I don’t know how to say this but the Donut Run was a big deal a few years ago. (Insert Anchorman GIF here) After talking with a few of the AO‘s, YHC decided to bring it back. A good number of PAX we’re already running XL as I pulled up a few minutes early to measure out 100 yards so Meter could complete week 4 of the IPC. Home Depot had so many blocks (coupons) in the parking lot that they were selling them… imagine that.
After a pax count and prayer it was off. Pop Off lead the Ruckers and YHC had a route prepared to Shawshank and back.
It was good to see Crack make an appearance. Good luck to him this weekend along with All 9s, Mermaid and Dewey as they tackle the IronMan 70.3 in Augusta.
After about 45 minutes everyone returned drenched in sweat.

No prayer request were spoken so YHC called everyone liars.
A short devo was given on forgiveness. (which I needed right away.)
In Luke 23:34 as Jesus is hanging on the cross he says, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they are doing.” This is a pretty amazing statement as Jesus is giving forgiveness even before anyone is asking for it. Too many times we are cold hearted and don’t even give forgiveness when we’re asked for it. I challenge(d) everyone to do something simple this next week. When a car cut you off or they don’t use their turn signal or whatever gets under your skin, just say these words. “Father forgive them, for they know not what they are doing.”
Prayer time was a little awkward as nobody wanted to touch Paper Jam’s sweaty/hairy back. I felt a lot of one finger only touching.
