We had a little fun at The Roost this morning with a more casual workout than we are typically accustomed to.  Still, we turned up the heat and laid it down, putting in right at 3 miles by the time we were done.  Here’s how it happened:

All pax line up on the 30 yard line facing midfield.  The first pax will grab the football and call an exercise.  He then throws the ball as far past midfield as he can.  The yard line where the ball comes to rest determines the number of reps the pax will do after running to the opposing goal line (so for example, a 45 yard throw gets you 25 reps).  After completing the reps on the goal line the pax return to the 30 to rinse & repeat working their way through all five pax.  Bud is dealing with some elbow issues so he elected to punt.  Looked like Ray Guy on his first attempt.  Looked like Ray Charles on his next two.

Round 1:

  • Bud: Big Boys x 23
  • Fire Daddy: Squats x 23
  • Moneypenny: Merkins x 28
  • Vanilla: Lunges x 28
  • Dirtbag: Monkey Humpers x 26

Line up on sideline for sprints across the field x 4.

Round 2:

  • Bud: Flutter Kicks x 48
  • Fire Daddy: Plank Jacks x 27
  • Moneypenny: Iron Cross x 18
  • Vanilla: Peter Parkers x 28
  • Dirtbag: Burpees x 27

Line up on sideline for sprints across the field x 4.

Round 3:

  • Shankopotamus: American Hammer x 50
  • Fire Daddy: Freddie Mercury x 36
  • Moneypenny: Dry Docks x 13
  • Vanilla: LBC x 13
  • Dirtbag: Hill Sprints x 26 #crowdpleaser

The sprints and hill work were a nice addition to an otherwise fairly laid back workout.
