The last remnants of Idalia moved out and 31 pax moved into @F3Woodshed for a 9-year anniversary celebratory stroll down memory lane…thanks to @Bunker, @Thunder, @Stumble, @Rogue, @LegionLegit, our Nantan @Cess and any other AOs that represented but I neglected to mention – it was a great morning with plenty of all three Fs to go around!
WARMUP:
20 x sidestraddle hops in cadence, 20 x imperial walkers in cadence, 20 little baby arm circles (10 forward, 10 back), 10 x overhead claps & 10 x overhead press, all in cadence, 20 x windmills in cadence, & 20 squats OYO.
THE THANG:
Moseyed out to the Circus Maximus
“In the beginning, there was @HeeHaw”
Pax did 9 sets total of 9 x HeeHaw Squats, 9 HeeHawndred Meter Dashes & 9 Squats
Moseyed to the side circus for a Chewypalooza including 9 reps of a team big boy situp including all 31 pax, then moved onto the field for 9 karaokes back and forth with a burpee at the end of each out & back.
@Chewy’s historic karaoke injury gave rise to the first reign of Pondo – we remembered @Pondo’s brutal power grab and the historic floods with 9 sets of boat / canoe interspersed with 9 sets of 9 ‘mericans.
A series of obtuse, confusing and contradictory instructions led the pax down the barrel of @SilverBullet, lunge-walking in a long straight line to the road, where we paused for 9 monkey humpers in cadence.
We then vaulted through time to the term of @Bloodwork, working the hips with some stepovers back toward the playground. We remembered Olympian Al Oerter but the cheat curls were unfortunately impossible to get to in the time alloted.
The second reign of Pondo dragged us out of covid lockdown and into a post lockdown world, which we celebrated with 9 sets of 9 pullups & 9 ‘mericans.
The pax then got their @Ash es moving, skipping out to the street, then doing some ski jumps up the road to the intersection to really engage the hips.
Paused at the intersection for a weather related non-sequiter, travelling back in time to Odyssey’s tenure. Pianos were unavailable for moving, so the pax celebrated Odyssey’s upcoming waterborne leg in a half-Ironman with a series of Aquamans.
Finally, we went back to the future to celebrate the penultimate AOQ, “Definitely not a runner” @Silent Bob with an all out jailbreak back to the Woodshed Flag.
