7 men showed up for each other in 25 degree weather for another edition of #HIThursday in Gilbert America. The workout consisted of heavy block work with some Goat Hill runs.
Appreciate these men for showing up for some hard work.

Rep count for each round: 20-16-12-8-4
Exercises each round:
- Lateral merkins on block
- Block curls
- Block presses
- Thrusters
- Blockees
- Run to top of Goat Hill and back
After all finished…
At each corner of the parking lot, running to each corner:
- Squats x 10
- BBSU x 20
3 minutes left, hold plank between each exercise:
- Merkins x 10 IC
- Mt Climbers x 10 IC

A former boss of mine used to always tell our management team, “You find your results where you put your focus.”
This holds true in every aspect of life: work, sports, family life, our walk with Christ.
The Dad who spends proportionally more time at the office is likely going to reap more from his career than his family life.
The ballplayer who becomes a great pitcher will likely see his hitting suffer. See any Major League pitcher not named Shohei Ohtani for proof.
If I choose to do bicep curls exclusively during my workouts, my biceps will benefit while the rest of my muscle groups won’t.
Earnestly look at your walk with Christ and ask these questions?
- Are you putting your focus on reading The Bible daily?
- Are you focused on daily prayer?
- Are you satisfied with the results of your focus?
With more focus on Him through daily prayer and Bible reading, your relationship with Christ will surely be enhanced.
Paul writes in Ephesians 3:17 “Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.”
