14 faithful TP regulars gathered this am returning to business as usual following completion of the Gauntlet 2019. Workout didn’t hit on much, but the fellowship was worth the post. The following loosely describes what happened;
Weather was dry and borderline long sleeves.
Circle up at shovel flag, disclaimer, prayer, then mosey to teacher’s lot and circle up for warm up exercises. Exercises were OHC, DB, IW, TTT, SloMo Merkin, SloMo Squat all x 10 IC. Mosey to block pile for bricks or blocks, pax choice you v you. Circle up on nearest basketball court.
Exercises were done ring of fire fashion, burning the ring at both ends. Exercise and waiting positions described below. One round of 5 and one round of 10 exercises were completed.
Curls – hold coupon in front
Shoulder press – hold coupon overhead
Block Merkin – plank
Tricep Ext – hold coupon overhead
Naepalm – hold coupon in front
Squat – Air Chair
Chest press – block over chest with feet at 6-inches
Returned blocks and mosey back to shovel flag and circle up for 5 v-ups IC to finish up the time.
Count-o-rama, nameorama, prayer requests prayer and thought shared.
+: Good to be back with the crew at TP
-: Workout severely deficient of cardio. This however allowed Wapner plenty of time to share stories of his spring break adventures.
Delta: it was suggested that some music may drown Wapner out, but there is always the chance that he’d talk right over it.
