Today’s Ramble route explored a couple of untapped resources of Forest Hill and Richland Mall. We met at Shandon Prez, ran down Woodrow until the dead-end at Gervais. Then we turned left, and an immediate right onto Devonshire/Canterbury/Devonshire, right on Stratford, left on Glenwood, right on Girardeau, left on Sunnyside, right on Forest, and then up the ramp to the parking garage at the mall. We exited onto Beltline, ran across the street to Landmark, which we took to Forest, then right on Falcon Dr., buzzed FIA’s Falcon’s Gauntlet workout, turned left on Beltline, right on E. Buchanan. When it crossed Trenholm, it turned into Heatherwood. Ran up that bad boy to Devereaux and turned right, then left on Adger. When it crossed Devine, it turned into Ott. Ran to Monroe, turned right, and continued until we got back to Woodrow. Turned right and headed back for the church. It was 6.4-7 miles (depending on whether or not your GPS tracked you in the parking garage).
Conditions were still quite hot and humid.It was great to have Traitor back from his trip to Great Brittain. It feels like he’s been gone a year (especially since he’s recently celebrated his birthday!)
