Staying Dry at Bounty

It’s been a while since YHC Q’d at Bounty, so it was good to be out there today with Duff and Hoist. With Dam to Dam on the horizon this weekend, we took it a little easy and saved our legs, and ourselves from injury. Good work, men, looking forward to next time.

Here’s how the official Bounty workout went:

Conditions:  Rainy, low 60’s

The Thang

Under breezeway:

  • Half speed suicides at each pole
    • Run half speed to first pole and mosey back to doorway
    • Rinse and repeat to each pole all the way to the opposite school entrance.
    • This was a little over two miles.
  • Incremental Sprints:
    • 5k speed to first driveway
    • Half speed to second driveway
    • Full speed to school entrance
    • Mosey back
    • Rinse and repeat x 2
    • This was a total of about 1 mile.
  • Alternating Run Techniques:
    • Backwards run to first driveway
    • Mosey back
    • Backwards run all the way to second driveway.
    • Mosey back
    • This was about a quarter of a mile.
  • Mosey cool down to opposite doorway and back to get 3.5 miles
