A whopping 28 pax pulled themselves from the toasty fartsack for an opportunity to get a workout led by the Crash. Sir Topham Hatt was supposed to lead today’s workout, so YHC took it on instead. Today’s workout was a remix of an old one from October of 2014 called “5 More Minutes”. It was chosen, because 5 more minutes is something we want in any number of scenarios, but specifically and particularly for YHC, with STH. Would 5 more minutes have made a difference? Who knows, but what if you took that approach in life with those around you? Whether you think it will make a difference or not, give someone just 5 more minutes. It could make all the difference. Many of you gave STH 5 more minutes after a workout. I want you to know it made a difference and it meant something to him. Even though it didn’t tip the tides of his struggle ultimately, know that it DID make a difference.
Disclaimer (ok, ok, Crash forgot to do this on his own). Seriously, you showed up at 5:30 in the morning with a bunch of dudes…

A few modifications were made to this workout from the original, most specifically, having a battle buddy through the workout. So often in life, we navigate it alone, or seemingly alone. We ALL need a battle buddy in life, whether that is your spouse, your best friend, etc. Someone you can divulge anything to. We don’t all have that, but we need it. We need to speak up when we need help, we need someone we are so comfortable with, there’s nothing we can’t say to each other. If you don’t have someone like that in life, find them. Be that someone to another person.
It was an honor for YHC to come back out to the gloom and to see many old and some new faces. Keep on keeping on gents.
