The Kid goes back to his roots

Every now and then, kids visit home.  YHC owed the Turning Point crew a visit and more important, a visit to Wingman, the 3rdF group that meets there.  Fun was had, and betterment was achieved.

Mosey down and grab a block and line up along the soccer field
Directions: Partner up (so no man is left behind) and bear crawl drag your block to the first tree.  There are 4 trees along that field.  At each tree, 6 increasing manmakers (burpee w/ 1 merkin and 1 overhead press > burpee w/ 2 merkins, 2 overhead presses > up to 6), then 20 LBC

Wapner broke yet another block during this exercise.  If these tantrums continue, the Turning Point Credit Card will need a credit line increase for more blocks.

Plank when you get across the field and wait on the six

-Bear crawl drag clerkins
Starting in the 12 o’clock position, bear crawl drag your block up the hill, stopping 1/4 of the way up.  12 merkins at 12 o’clock, 11 at 11, 10 at 10

-Facing the direction in which you stopped – the 10 o’clock position – continue dragging the block up the hill, stopping 1/2 way up.

-Continue this until you’re up the hill, and plank while waiting on the six

-Leave block at the top of the hill

– It was great to be back at Turning Point where YHC started his F3 journey.  It will always hold a special place in YHC’s heart for that
– Thanks to Thumbs Up for leading Wingman.  If you’re not plugged into a 3rdF group, ask around about one.  While we all love the workouts, this is where men are truly challenged and tasked to be better men of Christ – give it a shot
– Wapner was oddly quiet, which really threw YHC more than the anticipated mumblechatter
