Monday night was like most nights at my home. Time spent with the M on the back deck, chasing fireflies with the granddaughter, eating 1/4 of a box of Lucky Charms at 9pm. Yep, life is good. What a great night of sleep YHC had and when the alarm went off, I was ready to go.
3 pax hit the streets for Stride Lite miles before bootcamp. Awesome work by awesome men. 3 men hit the word at The Rock. Good time of encouragement with these dudes. Yep, it was going to be a great day.
1 minute warning given at 5:28. Disclaimer, no FNG’s, pray it in.
Mosey to the field with the big light poles and running sprinklers.
SSH x 25 IC, LBAC x 10 IC (forward and backward), 5 burpees, TTT x 10 IC.
Big pole suicides: 5 burpees at pole 1 (sprinklers we on at the goal line).
Exercises at each pole – 15 merkins, 15 squats, 15 v-ups, 15 2ct mountain climbers.
5 burpees at the starting point. All in, 25 poles were passed so 375 reps for each of the exercises (only 25 burpees).
Note on the fields – extremely wet, extremely muddy, extremely dirty. What a great day to be a dude. Playing in the mud with no consequences. The guys seemed to really enjoy being wet and dirty, not one pax complained during the entire bootcamp. The surprise sprinklers were fun…ask Coon Dog who was slow to move after being blasted in the backside while doing burpees. Almost like he enjoyed it. Anyways, Doo Dah’s jug came in handy as there was plenty of washing going on afterwards. Solid work from these men.
Mosey back to the flag.
