1 Timothy 5: 1-2. “Do not sharply rebuke an older man, but rather appeal to him as a father, to the younger men as brothers, the older women as mothers, and the younger women as sisters, in all purity.”
Job: 12:12 “Wisdom is with the aged and understanding in length of days.”
PAX are invited to join #theherd on the above date and time to deliver food for God’s Helping Hands. The food delivery goes to those who are elderly, disabled etc who have limited income and resources. This is a great opportunity to serve these people. Some will ask you to simply just leave the groceries and are not interested in talking. Some will want you to pray with them. Some will ask you to visit for a few minutes. Either way those of us who have done this in the past were blessed (this is our 2nd time doing this).
There is plenty of time to post at a workout, go home to get cleaned up and participate for this opportunity to serve.
