The Thang:

There were 5 lights (blinky and glow sticks) placed along the curb. They might have been unevenly spaced, but we will say they were all evenly spaced apart. We will perform the exercise at each station each time we pass the station.  (coming and going)  We will only advance one station at a time on the way out and return back to the start before advancing to the next station.  So station 1 (exercise) then go to station 2 (exercise) return back to station 1.  Station 1 (exercise) then go to Station 2 (exercise) then go to Station 3 (exercise) return back to Station 2 (exercise) and return back to Station 1.  Rinse and repeat until you get to station 5 and return back to the start.
Station 1 — 5 Burpees

Station 2 — 25 LBC’s

Station 3 — 25 Merkins

Station 4 — 25 Flutter Kicks 4 count

Station 5 — 25 Carolina Dry Docks

As you move from station to station you bear crawl on your way out and crawl bear on your way back.

After completing the ladder we did the following:

Karaoke to the middle light and back.

Butt Kicks to the middle light and back.

Backwards run to the middle light and back.

Sprint to the last light and back.

Devo: All We Ever See
Numbers 11: 5-6

We remember the fish we used to eat for free in Egypt.  And we had all the cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions, and garlic we wanted.  But now our appetites are gone.  All we ever see is the manna!

Everything is much better in our memories.  That’s the case with the Israelites as they were wandering in the desert, they were remembering the foods they used to eat.  Never mind that they were slaves!  God provided a daily miracle for them and that is their thanks.  What miracles is God providing for you that you’ve overlooked?  Let’s learn from these ungrateful Israelites and than our God for His provisions with a grateful heart!
