VERY Humid 75 degrees at the Depot. Nice turnout though, although it was bittersweet without our old friend Arrears, who is no longer with us. May he rest in peace…in Lexington.

Native American Run down hill and around to blocks.

One partner runs across field and back while other partner does exercises. Exercises are 50 overhead presses, 100 big boys, 150 curls, 200 bent over rows OR bench press.

Head over to playground. One partner runs 2 laps around playground while other partner does 50 bent over rows then 100 dips.
Blocks up and down to parking lot for something new.
The game: 12-sided dice known as a Dodecahedron (No one could name its geometrical shape, and I had to look it up) from Dave and Busters with exercises on it. My son won it as a prize, and it appeared to bring a lot of joy to the group for the remaining 10 minutes. After some whining from folks who thought it was going to be a laid back Mary session, the rolling began.
40 lunges, 10 squats, 20 mountain climbers, 15 butt kicks, 20 dips, 30 side straddle hops, 20 squat thrusts, etc. The dodecahdron also had a 3-minute rest side, which I shortened to 30 seconds the one time it fell on that side.
Circle up. Count-a-rama, Name-a-rama. No announcements. Prayer: Help us, Lord, be better fathers, husbands, sons, brothers, co-workers, and bosses. Amen!
Good Q, many commented. I agree.
