Sled has new shoes

It was a nice muggy morning to be out in the gloom, but the nine men who showed up for Score gave great effort. YHC got some new running shoes and while everyone was concerned it might mean running farther than they wanted, the mileage was kept down, and the shoes felt great. Enjoyed being with everyone.

Condition: 75 degrees and humid

The Thang:

Start at Club Carlisle since the Dreher gates were locked and circle up:

Side Straddle Hop x20 IC

Prisoner Squats – (hands behind head, back straight, and go down slowly on first three counts into squat position) – x20 IC

Imperial Walkers x20 IC

Little Baby Arm Circles x15 forward and x15 backwards IC

Big Boy Situps x20 OYO

Overhead Clap x30 IC

Mosey to corner of Devereaux and Daly for next COP:

Plank Jack x15 IC

Planking exercises (as we welcome Pele who had a slight oversleeping issue)

Mosey down Devereaux to next corner for next COP:

Dips x10 OYO

Captain Thor – (do 1 Big Boy Situp and then 4 Freedom Twist)  x10 OYO

Do 15 Squats, 15 Carolina Dry Docks and 15 LBCs OYO

YHC then explained we would do a mailbox run. There were four mailboxes on the left going towards Cassina, so run to each mailbox, and complete 15 Squats, 15 Carolina Dry Docks and 15 LBCs OYO

At the stop sign, do 5 4x4s (a burpee into the plank position and then 4 mountain climbers, and then complete the burpee for one)

We then ran back down Albion towards Devereaux, stopping at the 2 mailboxes on the left and doing 10 Squats, 10 Carolina Dry Docks and 10 LBCs OYO

Run back down Devereaux and stop at previous corners, repeating exercises with 10 reps

Mosey back to Club Carlisle for the final two exercises:

Everyone plank, and each person does 5 merkins until all have completed the merkins

Finish with max Big Boy Situps in a minute

COT: Spool shared that his friend is finally out of the hospital. Great work by all. 9 men worked out and 8 showed up for coffeeteria. Good times.
